ADHD Link to Pesticides
ADHD, and ADD are two conditions which are listed on what is termed the "Autism Spectrum." It is the general concensus of opinion that there must be one or more environmental stimuli that are triggering the pandemic of ADD, ADHD, and autism that we are experiencing today. There is controversial evidence that vaccines, especially the MMR, may be playing a major role. Other environmental chemicals are also suspect.Recently, a study published in Environmental Health Perspectives suggested that children exposed to pesticides, even in the womb, have a higher incidence of ADHD. This, too, would apply to the onset of autism. In my book, Autism: From Symptoms to Solutions, one chapter discusses the risk factors for autism which include exposure to environmental and household chemicals, including insecticides, cleaning fluids, tick and flea powder, and others. I urge every parent or parent-to-be to read the book, available at RxAlternativeMedicine.com.
